IT professional. Automator of boring things. Printer of plastic. Occasional breaker of the smart home.
I've spent 15+ years at HP working my way through the enterprise IT world — these days as a Service Manager, keeping complex environments running and (more importantly) making sure the same problem never has to be solved twice. If a task is repetitive, it gets automated. That habit has done wonders for operational efficiency, and for my patience.
Outside work hours the tinkering continues: 3D printing, AI and machine learning experiments, and a home that's steadily becoming more automated than is strictly necessary. Most of the projects on this site started as "surely I can script that" moments.
I like learning in public — conferences, workshops, professional communities — and I'm always up for talking shop. If you want to collaborate, swap ideas, or just compare smart-home disasters, get in touch.
